Steam Deck Partidas Guardadas

Buenas, alguien me puede ayudar?

Estoy jugando un juego en la Steam deck pero aveces también lo quiero jugar en mi PC, el problema es que mi PC no toma la misma partida guardada que tengo en mi steam deck, tendría que comenzar de nuevo, como puedo hacer para jugar la misma partida tanto en PC como en steam deck?

First & foremost, does the game use Steam cloud (or some other savegame cloud solution) in of itself? If yes, we'll troubleshoot that. If not, different steps must be taken.

yes, the game use steam cloud, the game is (Graveyard Keeper)

I understand, you got your progress on your Steam Deck. Did you give it the chance to upload the saves? That is, when you quit the game and before you started it on your other PC, did you connect the Deck to the internet?

i got the deck connected to my wifi and yes i give it the chance to upload the saves, i quit the game and when i look at the screen it says (Steam cloud; Update) but as i told you, it dosen't have any save file on my pc

Let's make this abundandly clear: when you look at the game's properties ON YOUR DECK, how much cloud save space is used? I have a theory was this likely is, I'd love to exclude other stuff first though.

ok, the section in steam cloud says, (Keep games saves in the Steam Cloud for Graveyard Keeper) i got that on, and below that says, (2.92 MB Store / 16.15 MB available)

Thank you. With that out of the way, I think the problem is cross-platform saves. I'm not familiar with THAT Particular game, it is a well-known problem though. So let's start digging this direction.

Some game devs decide to publish a native Linux version of their game in parallel with the Windows one, they also separate saves by platform (yup, that's "fun").

Let's check that, are you playing the Linux version of this game or the Windows version? Your other PC runs Windows, I suppose.

yeah my pc have windows and i dont know how to check witch version of the game im playing on the deck i suppose is Linux

Open the game's properties in Steam (on your Deck, obviuosly), check the compatibility tab.

ok i check the tab and it displays Proton Experimental and some other proton versions

Hi, I wanted to know if you managed to fix this? My problem is that I've played Graveyard Keeper on a Mac and I have the game in the cloud, but I start the game on the Steam Deck and the game doesn't appear. Is there a solution? Thank you very much!

You are going to have to manually copy the saved game over.
