Slow download

Hello, I have a problem downloading games on steam deck, I only have 5 MB/s download. is there a way to speed it up somehow? on my phone I have a speed test of 15 MB/s. If I connect the Steam deck via docks and docks via an Ethernet cable, will the games download faster?

No, to ssd on steam deck.
Now I see that it says that the fastest download I had was at 46.5 MB/s. and that was until one, when the next one it dropped to 5 MB/s again. I only got to 46 MB/s when I switched from desktop to game mode

Go to System Settings enable Developer Mode go down to Developer Mode and disable Wifi Power Management. That might help.

Already done with Wifi Power Management and still the same problem

Obviously you should use ethernet for much better speeds, WiFi is trash, 15MB/s is still crap don't waste your time just get a cheap dongle and enjoy up to 1000MB/s.

Valve needs to get their sht together. I'm looking at: from 11 days to 10 hrs to download RDR2 (120 gig).
Downloading on steam deck thru steam app is BROKEN.

Commented this a bit before mine arrived and i only get 20MB/s on cable too so there is clearly something wrong, they really need to fix it.

ive been getting the same problem on my LCD steam deck (with 512gb SSD) but also with steam on my new gaming laptop. however i think in my case, some of it may be a steam issue and some of it may be my vodafone broadband (i think it goes up to 60mbps,my area doesnt do higher than that),ive found taking my laptop and deck to my parents house downloads games a hell of a lot faster. ive had forza horizon 5 on redownload on my laptop for 2 days all day and its still only at 15%, might as well be back on 56kbps freeserve dial up.
