Swap in your old SSD. Check the volume. If it worked, then your install kinda failed. Remember to report the bug to valve. Some alsa settings messed up.
Playing games locally at 30% volume, I experience the opposite and the volume is actually quite loud. When I play remote play, the volume gets even louder! It ends up being much too loud, and when in voice chat with a steam friend they say they can hear my game blasting 🫨
It almost seems as if there is no gradual volume reduction once it’s near 10%. I haven’t even tried 100% volume because the sound ends up being distorted.
go to settings-> audio -> output device
set Output device to 'Speakers' - bring volume to zero
now set to 'default speakers' - raise to max
set back to 'Speakers' - raise to level you want
this lets me get max volume! sometimes doesn't stick on a reset though
This works!!! THANK YOU!!!
Yes!!! Very Good!!! Speakers audio output is almost on par with the first lcd model now!
Thank you!!!
Oh Lord GabeN, hear us sing!!
