Wireless via dongle - Headphones not detected
I bought recently a gaming headset GTX 391 Thian Trust that work in windows with wireless via USB Dongle . in windows they work pretty well. but on steam deck i cant find. Through jack they work , but dongle nothing.
Anyone know how to fix? or i must return them ? i bought only for the wireless option.
I'm not an expert of linux , i try to find solution on internet but nothing.
Anyone can help me? maybe i need some software install that recognize the wireless dongle.
(Sorry for my bad english)
Any help is very appreciated!

Looked up the specs on them; they are using a 5.8GHz radio for the wireless rather than standard bluetooth; that is why they need that dongle. The USB dongle will need a driver for it and they don't list anything regarding linux support anywhere on their site that I could find.

I'd recommend returning the headset and getting one that is using a standard bluetooth 5.0 or newer. The SteamDeck already has a bluetooth connection built-in so you would just need to pair a bluetooth headset with your SteamDeck and it would work.
there is no hope to let them work with some software installed? thanks for your answer , very apprecciated

Not that I could find on their website; and given they don't list any mention of linux support or have any driver downloads for the headset I'd doubt you'd be able to get them working on Steam Deck (or other Linux system). But any standard bluetooth 5.0+ headset should work without issue on SteamDeck.
