Steam Deck

Steam Deck

Is it possible to change the thumbstick caps out for other ones? (DS4, XBOX, ETC.)
I don't really care for the capacitive touch, i find that i do extremely better with the DS4's thumbsticks vs the large ones on the deck.

I put panda-shaped thumbstick caps on my wife's Steam Deck. It didn't effect the capacitive touch at all.

yup,. Gulikit upgraded analog sticks are a op[tion.
I'm actually talking about the PHYSICAL thumbsticks, not rubber caps you put on any thumbstick.

Anything is possible with tools and time. There is nothing out there that only replaces the sticks. Current available kits replace the whole control unit. Is it possible to pull out the controller unit, take it a part, put different sticks in it and put it back together? Probably. However, if you are asking if you can do it, you probably shouldn't try it. Those that can, don't ask, they just do it.
it's an easy solder solution all i just want to know if the dimensions of the thumbsticks are similar to others
but if this is a new thing then i'll probably pioneer for it why not
