Is it safe to play while charging and without unplugging it when it's full?

I want to ask a simple question, all this time I have used Steam Deck only because of the impression of its mobility which is very portable as a small PC, but I have never plugged in the power cable while playing, is it safe or is it actually dangerous while charging the battery to run a game, especially AAA? and is it true that this steam deck has an auto cut off battery feature and when it is full it automatically goes to the CPU/GPU and no longer fills the battery? And if I deliberately use 100% charging without unplugging it for up to 6 hours, will it drastically reduce battery life?

Yes, you can play while plugged in. Many do.

The larger problem is heat. Heat causes all the battery degradation. As you the battery doesn't feel like it hotter than usual, keep it plug in. The problem with overcharging is that extra power will turn to heat and damage the battery.

I wonder why people in these threads care about cooling their soc. The battery and power ic needs more temperature attention on the steam deck.
