How do I disable right trackpad click in Desktop Mode?
The right trackpad is INSANELY sensitive. And instead of making it an ACTUAL CLICK by phsycially depressing the pad, it is simply the barest of touches the causes a left click. This is stupid and makes using the trackpad for arrow movement all but impossible. Meanwhile, using the control sticks are difficult for fine movement on such a small screen.

So how do I turn off the left click feature of the trackpads IN DESKTOP MODE (I don't care about in games, so don't bother giving those instructions). Or at the very least, make it so that it's a HEAVY press and not a breath of a whisper it's stuck at now. This is insanely frustrating for doing literally anything in desktop mode and I have no idea what "genius" thought it up and did zero testing to make sure that it didn't cause exactly the problems it is causing everyone.

Please give DESCRIPTIVE instuctions. I have no idea how where things are in desktop mode or what I'm looking for. Giving generic "Go here, then click this icon I won't describe" does nothing to help. Where is the icon on the screen? What does it look like? Etc. If I sound frustrated, it's because almost no one describes anything and acts like we all know what the hell they are talking about. Newb here. Teach me.

Steam Settings (Steam Button) -> Controller -> Scroll to the bottom (Non-Controller Layouts) -> Edit (Desktop Layouts) -> Edit the buttons -> Go to right trackpad and select none.

You can edit the settings from game mode settings menu. I gave mode settings instructions.

If you set the click to soft press, you can increase the soft press threshold slider. By increasing this, it will require more force to activate the click.

Meanwhile, using the control sticks are difficult for fine movement on such a small screen

That can be fixed. On desktop, I have right stick set to joystick mouse with sensitivity set to 100. Stick response curve is set to relaxed. Change the Deadzone to custom. Then set the Dead Zone Inner to 1400. If you get stick drift, increase this value in increments of 100 until stick drift is gone.
