Is there anyone who can actually use remote play via wifi?

Its insanely bad for me, constantly losing connection, cant even use it to type things on the steamdeck so I dont have to use the on-screen keyboard...

it says it has 3MB/s connection but I call that a lie, at work I frequently access PCs via Teamviewer, those PCs are often connected over a hotspot AND a VPN, that means the connection speed is around 500kbs at best, yet it is usable.

Are you trying to stream from your PC to your Steam Deck, or steam to your PC from the Steam Deck?

I stream from my PC to my Steam Deck daily. I play Madden '24 which does not work on SteamOS. I stream it to my Deck every day. There are issues on the Stable branch right now with Remote Play but I'm working around the bugs.

I try to stream my deck to my pc so I can use my pc to do stuff like modding in desktop mode, I resorted to just popping out the touch keyboard every couple seconds tho...

FWIW, I've heard of difficulties streaming from the Deck but never needed to do that myself. Now that I've said that, someone will pop in and say they do it all the time.

your team viewer does not run at constant 60 fps. steam deck can use any bitrate if you switch from automatic to manual, up to 75 megabytes (600 megabits) or even unlimited.

stuttering depends on your WiFi mostly. you could try disabling hardware encoding your pc and see if anything changes. also make sure to enable other options like prioritizing traffic or low latency mode after the latest steam client update.
