Got this message on my order of the steam deck: Our distributor has hit a processing backlog for orders to Canada. So what's up with steam inventory, on a pause and I ordered mine on May 23rd, how much longer to wait to ship??

They'll notify you when it ships. I saw Canada had this issue last year too.

I doubt it will be that long but a week or two might be a better estimate.

took 11 days for mines to ship to Cape breton island after payment processed. shipped ona friday came ona tuesday

Did yours ship yet? I just ordered one since it was saying 1-2 weeks shipping. Now having the same backlog message. Leaving the 22 for vacations and hopping to get it before that.

They never got rid of the message from the last time there was a backlog as far as I can tell. When I ordered mine in May (2023), it took like 4-5 days and I got it on the following Tuesday or Wednesday. This is true for Ontario in my experience, don't know about any other province.

Ordered mine on the 30th (5 days ago) which I'm sure has some backups with Canada Day, a Sunday, a possible closed day for monday being a day off, work, and day off again for the 4th of July.

Seeing people's responses here eases my nerves on getting it sooner, even with the backlog.

I ordered on the 4th, still hasn't shipped, just marked as packaged. Hopefully it will ship within the next week. I am moving in a month, so I am getting a bit worried.
