Zoomed in screen on docked?
Hi, my screen is weirdly zoomed in on my TV, changing resolutions doesn't fix it, tried changed settings on the irl TV menu but nothing.
It's resolution (according to the deck) is 1280x720, has anyone else had similar issues?

First check your current tv resolution with the menu/info of the tv. I think it receives 1280x800 because you clone the Deck display to the tv, but the tv can‘t cope with that.

Go to Steam Deck desktop mode, open display settings and adjust both screens to their respective native resolution. When you use it docked, you may disable the built-in screen.

If you have a 4K tv, I recommend to set it to 1920x1080@60 Hz. You may need to explicitly set/force this resolution within the Steam game setting - depending on the game.

After doing these adjustments, it will also work in game mode.

Keep in mind that some games are really picky regarding screen and resolution setup. The most safe is to have only one screen active and to have the active screen setting the same as the game display setting.

My display is weirdly small text but screen fits tv, how do I resolve this issue.
Same issue as kinder.
I believe you two are experiencing the 4K Lyfe (of huge screen with obnoxiously tiny text).

Either on the Quick Action Menu (QAM, using the ( . . . ) button--opposite of the Steam button), on the same vertical tab as the Audio/Brightness slider settings....go all the way down to the bottom of that menu and tick on the UI resize automatically option. Or you can go into the Display settings to find the same setting (with two other related options), for ease of use the bottom two of the three ticks for External Sizing and Scaling should be turned ON. Bigger resolution (4K) also means more heavy lifting for the Steam Deck's GPU/APU to push graphics to a screen about 16 times as big as the 1280x800 Deck's native screen. FRS can only get you so far fixing such an area discrepancy.
