Report a translation problem
- Turn off the Steam Deck (completely off, not sleep)
- Turn it on by keeping pressed the volume up button while you press the power button.
- Go to "setup utility"
- In the "advanced" section , disable "touch panel support
- Save and restart.
Under Action Sets, you can add an always on command. Set the command to touch screen off.
There is a game were I prefer touchscreen input, so I spent some time learning to configure action sets. I realized I've only really been frustrated by the touchscreen input in one game that exits the pause menu upon receiving any input, so I created an action set for that game that lets me disable touchscreen and trigger inputs (so I can also set the steam deck down without unpausing) whenever I click the left trackpad. Seems like a good solution.
