Ultima IX gog won't launch

Good evening,

I'm trying to play good old Ultima IX on my Steam Deck using Heroes Launcher and GOG version of the game. I get the installation finished and tried starting the game.

Sadly, I only get a black screen for just a second and it brings me back immediatly to the launcher.

Second game I tried was Call to Power II which were starting but it seems fonts were missing and after 2-3 clicks there were heavily clitched menus and than the game crashed.


Maybe I did something wrong or you have great ideas / suggestions for me.

Older titles are likely going to be a bit harder to get working.

To make it more easy to alt-tab out of the game:
DisableWinKey=0

To switch to D3D instead of Glide:
; 2=D3D, 3 = Glide
Game Rasterizer=2

Fix black text:
MultiPassChromakey=0

Still investigating the video. The videos are located in Movies and are mpeg1 videos renamed to .dat files.
