Wireless controller's gyro won't work on Cemu on Steam Deck.
Hello! So I installed emulators on Steam Deck via Emudeck. Been playing Breath of the Wild then I installed this motion control for Cemu:

It worked like charm for the handheld. Now this time I wanna play games docked and on a big screen. So bought this bluetooth controller primarily for its motion control support:

Unfortunately its not working and I could not find any thread on the internet that at least has the same issue. Thanks in advance! :steamhappy:

Well yeah, it's not working because SteamDeckGyroDSU is a driver for the Steam Deck gamepad. Every gamepad needs its own driver to be compatible with CemuHook

From what it looks like, the controller you bought is natively a Switch Pro gamepad.

I wasn't able to find any Linux tutorial, but there are the following resources:

https://wiki.cemu.info/wiki/Motion_controls#Nintendo_Switch_controllers
https://github.com/joaorb64/joycond-cemuhook

I can't help you past this point because I have no Switch gamepads, but from what it looks like you just have to use joycond and follow the instructions on GitHub. Good luck

How to use

From now on, you'll only need to run joycond-cemuhook from a terminal.
  • Connect your Nintendo Switch controllers and assign them as intended (using the
  • respective L+R)
  • Open a compatible emulator and enable cemuhook UDP motion input
Head to this project's wiki for detailed instructions on how to configure Cemuhook on emulators.
Maybe this also works?

Says it is standardized to work with any controller so maybe that's a better solution, but I have no idea
