Claiming Steam Deck Rewards
I'm not sure if this has been an issue for anyone else or not, and at a quick glance I didn't see anyone post this on the forums.

When you purchase your steam deck and start using the unit, I will receive a small message that pops up to claim your steam deck rewards. Apparently when I tap the message it brings up an error message that the rewards are unavailable.

Honestly I doubt the rewards are anything terrific outside of some keyboard options and maybe a sticker or two but can this issue be fixed or just remove this entirely as it is annoying to see claim your rewards pop up and then be told sorry about your luck its not working.

With my luck this is probably just an issue i'm having but I thought I would pose the question to see if anyone else has this happen on their decks as well.

I’ve claimed them with my first deck, and then after RMA, the message Dominace described keep appearing with the second deck. “claim it” it says, but cannot (already did) and the message keep appearing periodically. Bug.

The rewards are linked to the Steam Deck serial, since you RMA'd, the error is probably showing because, when you claimed them from the original Deck, you already have the items you're trying to claim with the new one, so after verifying you still have the rewards, let a family member or friend redeem them on your new Deck?

I don't think I have other rewards to claim, I think rewards are account related..So no more rewards for a second deck...Just a stupid bug message I guess

You should have an option in settings to delete the notification which should stop it from continuing to pop up

I keep getting it even after I claimed them so I just set it to ignore.

I originally purchased my deck and after the first month the my deck died on me. I didn't claim the deck rewards (that I can remember) and im fairly certain I had the exact same error message when I had tried to collect it. I did buy the top tier deck but I have never claimed my rewards. Lets face it ♥♥♥♥ you buy another deck for $900 bucks and you dont get you keyboard and profile items? sounds a bit petty to me, i honestly am more annoyed on the messages than being shafted on the "rewards".

Wrong each deck comes with bundle and they are connected to device itself not account related. When you press claim rewards it sort off redeems them into your account some how with a code or something. But like other user said your getting the message since you haven't claimed it yet and it isn't a bug.

So to see if that is true, let some 1 else in your family with steam account login on your steam deck and they press claim and if it comes up that rewards is claimed and they received items. Then it was correct that reward is per device and not account related.
