That depends on how long the journey is:

under 2 hours? Any game you want
more than 2? Less demanding games based on how long the trip is.

Or if supplemental power is available. I'd also say this depends on the type of games you like. There are some good story / narrative puzzle games that are about 6 - 10 hours like Call of the Sea which are great on Steam Deck.
Vampire Survivors!

Isn't the the standard answer these days? :steamhappy:
Kingdoms of Amalur would be an easy recommendation. It's rather Deck-friendly in terms of battery runtime while looking good, it offers countless hours of fun, it's not too deep so fine to play on a crowded train.

I avoid playing it because it is the gaming equivalent of crack.
( don't know if you looking for those that are on discount or not, but they are not currently on sale thou, but are quite fun, imo ) I have only played these on my desktop, but they are Verified
( I have Dysmantle on xbox too and I've played longer over there )

That was more of a joke, hence the emoji. That being said, you'll need to provide more detail for folks to help. Like:

* What games or game types do you like?
* Is this travel with or without internet access?
* Will you have power or a battery pack with you?
Hitman 3 is really fun. It won't save your progress because of IO's weird cloud thing but it's really well optimized and has a lot to do.
Emudeck is great for old retro games emulation, plus you will always be able to play them regardless of being online or not.
