ABOUT STEAMDECK FACTORY RESET

Hello,

I don't know if someone can help me with the following question:

On the Steamdeck there is an option yo restore Factory settings but I have seen many people Who have had problems with this process and have had to use a steamOS image and do It from a USB.

Has anyone used Steamdeck's owm reset function recently and can confirm that there are no issues?

I've had to factory reset mine a few times due to issues that popped up when trying a few things on my Steam Deck that left it not working like it suppose too. I luckily saw no issues doing it.

You just use the bottom of "Factory reset" and that's it? How long does It take to reset?

It's not that there is a problem with the Factory Reset. It's that a Factory Reset doesn't always fix the problem the user is trying to fix so the next step is a re-image.

It take too long if memory served me correctly. Most of the down time was having to install games again on the device. I think I had to reformat my SD Disk as well.
