cant find battle net games
recently installed diablo 4 and had an issue with the proton. in order to change it i had to uninstall battle net setup off of my steam games library. after reinstalling, battle net could no longer find any game content. so i tried to find it manually and for some reason i cant find it for the life of me. i have no experience with linux other than what i have learned since purchasing the steam deck. my question is where do i find the games i downloaded so i can delete them so i can reinstall them?

You can use QDirStat to view where files you can't find are located if that's your question, good for finding what's taking up space in general that you might not know is there. Delete the game files and just reinstall it along with Battle.net as you normally would is the easiest if you can afford to redownload.

Steam OS can’t even find its own stuff. Sadly…
ie, Valhalla was working (albeit crashing) I tried a different Proton and switched back and it couldn’t find the UbiConnect install required… even when opened separately.

Slightly disappointed with ‘ease of use’ with any game that has a launcher aside from GuildWars 2, who worked with Steam to get it right.

Really disappointed with games in Steam like Ubisoft, they need to find a way to make it work.
And if so, I can then be brave enough to try a battle.net game that I never could get to work before.

Is that a command in the command line or an app?

It's a GUI program, you should be able to find it in the Discover store.

I had the exact same problem. I deleted Battle.net from steam and all my games were removed, couldn't find them. I knew where to search manually and they were not there anymore. My guess? Every application using proton creates its own C: drive and by deleting the C: drive of Battle.net it destroyed everything in it with it, aka all the games.
