No. Once it is shipped, you can only get a full refund and purchase it again.
Part of the Abuse clause goes into detail for store purchases but not physical products...

That would require a ton of returns in the very small one week period which probably will never happen, especially when most people don't even look at the store and would never notice the sale in time.
I bet everyone who receieved a steam deck in the last couple of weeks is getting messages from friends about the discount! Question is whether they consider the price difference is worth bothering with dealing with the return and waiting for the replacement.
At the very least, I think a credit to our Steam Wallet would be fair.
I love it too but that $40 (if you bought the base model) can be put towards more games to play on our Decks
