Steam Deck

Steam Deck

Steam Deck Tools is awesome
So i switched back to windows mainly because of gog galaxy which doesn’t support linux sadly. Someone recommended me steam deck tools because i wanted to have a emulated controller for all 3 party launchers and it just works right from the get go.

So my question is about the fan plugin….
If i pick the steam os mode it says the program could trigger some anti cheat games….does anyone have experience with that?
Also what about the other features the program has besides of the controller plugin.

Lutris works great for managing and installing GOG games on Linux, and now it fully supports Proton, so that's really cool.

There's also Heroic Launcher, which I've never tried but it's supposed to work well for GOG and Epic games. I hear Heroic is simpler with easy two-click installation. Personally I like the extra control Lutris provides.
I can use all my saves on galaxy which makes it kinda easier for me.

I'll just wait for Valve to (hopefully) update the drivers to get the fans to be seen on Windows normally, that way I can just blame them if it breaks.

And yeah, Heroic is a good launcher for GOG/Epic. Haven't had any issues.

there is also minigalaxy as a good alternative. Some games start there which won't elsewhere
