Docked remote play sound cutting out randomly

I am having an issue with sound cutting out when I remote play from my pc to my steam deck which is docked and connected to my TV. It plays great for a long time and then it will randomly just cut the sound out and it doesn't come back until I exit the game and relaunch it with remote play. This wouldn't be an issue except I've been playing Armored Core 6 and can't save in the middle of a mission or at check points.

I am streaming from a windows PC and have all other audio outputs in the settings disabled except the steam stream audio. They are both hard wired via ethernet to the same router. I also know that it isn't the deck or dock itself because the deck menu and OS still plays audio just not the remote play game. I've seen other posts about the issue with no fix but I'm wondering if there is a way to cycle to the audio without closing the remote play session entirely?

Any help or if I could be pointed to a thread with a fix, it would really save me a headache.

I am having a similar issue but using any form of Steam Link Streaming, I have the Old Steam Link device, I have a Steam Deck and I have also installed Steam link to an amazon Fire Stick. it varies but can be anywhere between 1min to 15mins before audio will just randomly stop steaming. its definitely the stream as the menu sfx in either my steam deck or steam link are still working.

I read that going into the steam deck display settings and turning off 'automatically set resolution' under external display scaling can help.

It doesn't seem to eliminate the problem entirely.. but it happens a lot less since I made the change.

Same issue. Sound will cut out randomly. When I try to close the game it hangs. I have to restart the deck by holding down the power button until the device turns off. Started happening recently. I had been using it to steam from my PC for months without issue prior to the issue first starting.

Same issue here. I'm not sure if the audio drop outs were happening in the stable client that was released on August 1st (or prior versions for that matter) but I do know that the repeated controller input bug made me switch to the beta channel, and the audio dropouts have been there ever since the beta client release on August 4th.

Hopefully this is something simple and we won't have to wait another month to get a hotfix.

Same for me, I switched to the Beta because of the repeated input bug and since then my audio just stopps working randomly.

Really annoying.

tossing my hat in and to bump this thread. It's happening consistently, but at an inconsistent interval. Could be a couple mins in, or hours into a play session. But it always happens. Remote play from PC in the other room, have to 'close' the game out, and restart the session. Painful sometimes

Omg please fix this! Remote play via dock to TV is the one thing keeping me from shelling out for a ps5... it works perfectly until it doesn't
