Hold power for like 30s (much, much, much longer than you would think is necessary) and then try powering again.

Can you try Desktop mode?

In it both screen should work? And also try recovery flash drive.

That's wierd.

I'm having the same problem. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps from the previously linked thread. External Monitor working gorgeously, but no onboard.

Didn't drop it or anything. Was installing some Game Pass games on my Windows SD Card. System died overnight. In the morning I charged it back up and turned it on and was loading back into Windows. I left it at the login screen while I ran into the doctors office. Come out 15 minutes later and no screen anymore.

I'm just about to try a Steam OS restore, then I'll have to try a factory reset, but I'm hoping for another solution before then.

Oh, and this stupid Reddit protest is killing me. There are many threads over there about this issue but it's all behind a wall for now. "I'm mad at Reddit, let's hurt my co-gamers!"

Start a support ticket if you haven't yet.

Looks like hardware issue, unfortunately.
Had the same issue. Unplugged the power once, and all of a sudden it did not work anymore.

What helped for me: Unplug Steam Deck from everything. While on, hold power for 10-11 seconds, it will turn off, then the white dot on the top will blink 2-3 times.
After that, just turn it back on and the Dock works again on my Deck. Somehow the 10 second shut down resets the Deck and it makes stuff work again.

I hope it helps for you.

My deck is doing the same thing, works in docked but nothing when not docked. What fixed this. Local repairmen say the screen is bad. 250$ to fix I’m not buying it. What’s the fix
You tried holding the power button for at least 10 seconds?
