2: Valve has NOTHING to do with chrome updates. Chrome is maintained via the Discover store, which is just a Flatpak package manager. Valve has nothing to do with the updates or distribution of any app in the discover store except for ones they put there themselves. Posting about anything non-steam here falls on deaf ears. Go to the Chrome community and post there.
