Steam Deck

Steam Deck

Fix Google Chrome pls
Since its still unsolved i'll try to create a post about it.
A few weeks ago a new update butchered Google Chrome on Steam Deck.
Now streaming services like Prime Video and Netflix are unavaible, they simply won't work.
The only thing that seems to work so far it NOT using Chrome at all, watching content on stream via Mozilla Firefox instead.
Even tho this still makes it possible to see this kind of content, forcing people to migrate from Chrome to Firefox is kinda annoying, even more so if somebody likes to use different browsers for different things.

2: Valve has NOTHING to do with chrome updates. Chrome is maintained via the Discover store, which is just a Flatpak package manager. Valve has nothing to do with the updates or distribution of any app in the discover store except for ones they put there themselves. Posting about anything non-steam here falls on deaf ears. Go to the Chrome community and post there.

A typical example of short attention span, reading more than 4 words seems to be wayyyyyy too complicated nowadays

Hopefully Chrome on Steam Deck stays broken. Muhahahaaa ;P .
