Decky Recorder malfunctioning?

I used to be able to record with decky recorder just fine, but after the most recent update, every time I try to record, the replay button turns on automatically. If I try and start recording, then go back to turn record off, replay button turns on and denies me the ability to stop recording, and I get no footage. Any ideas?

Not sure there are to many options until the author fixes it. Some people suggest downgrading:
