I know when I replaced my 64gb m.2 and installed a 1tb Mine would not turn on but I plugged in the power cable and left it there for under 5 minutes and hit the power button and it worked fine. Take the back off unplug the battery remove the m.2 and then replace it.
Make sure the screws are not too tight because that can also cause problems with some motherboards if the heatsink screws are too tight.
Something to Note its rare but could be a bad m.2 ssd you installed.
eventually i had to RMA(had to pay 200€ for a new mother board) since its seems to be i had a damaged battery power controller...
kind of unfortunate i guess and probably not caution enough by my side..
anyhow i managed to apply the upgrades i wanted on the new motherboard!
