FSR Sea of Thieves
I have been trying to play Sea of Thieves on the steam deck recently and I was hoping a bit more performance. I'm at low settings and barely pushing 40 fps. I was trying to see if I could use FSR from the steam deck but I haven't gotten it to turn on. I enabled it in the scaling window on the steam deck and then lowered the resolution of the game but FSR never turns on. Any ideas?

what do you mean FSR never turns on? If you've enabled it in the performance menu then it is on?

Is the game set to fullscreen borderless window? If so it will always run at the native resolution. Set the game to exclusive full screen at a lower resolution.

Doesn’t work here either.

Turned on full overlay and it says FSR is off. Running 720p in game and set it to FSR scaling.

FSR is a super-resolution upscaling filter that works as a post-effect to counter DLSS, and I recall it didn't work at such a low resolution.

If you want a bit more performance, the only way is to improve the cooling and increase the SoC clock setting in the BIOS.
