Report a translation problem
Use the default settings in graphics.
Then re-adjust if its a game breaking problem.
Check your FOV and gamma settings maybe too high.
If using windows check the resolution matches the desktop.

Go to Desktop mode and find this file:
/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/4155815133/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/Rockstar Games/Red Dead Redemption 2/Settings/system.xml
Open it with KWrite and change the line <API>kSettingAPI_DX12</API> to <API>kSettingAPI_Vulkan</API>

Do you by any chance know a fix for the water crashes? My game is stable, but crashes after a few moments close to water.
Nope. I don't even own the title. I just found those steps on the Web. I would look at trying the newer versions of GE Proton as a first try.
