Jsaux Back Plate-Installed Issue
I just installed the Jsaux back plate and everything went smooth, no broken tabs or anything, snapped in place just fine, looks great. However upon testing it and playing games I find the right trigger is also pressing the R5 button, which I have set to take screenshots on most games. Tested it with a driving game and instantly saw the problem. My first thought was user error, so I took it apart knowing I would compromise the tabs' integrity even more. Upon inspecting it I find I did everything correct. The issue comes I believe from the tolerances being too tight on the after market rear R buttons, how you 'screw' them in instead of factory rivets. I even tried the hooked once, same issue. Also note in the this photo:

how there are A LOT of missing structure reinforcements on the Jsaux on which were not duplicated from the OEM one, I'm sure to make it more 'pretty' and see through.

I'm at a loss as I would very much like to use it cause it looks cool, and supposed to lower the temps a little(not that my Deck is over heating but more overhead the better).

Anyone have any ideas or similar issues with this thing? The good news is I took the back off 3 times and with the stock back I don't notice any difference in structural integrity like 'reviewers' have claimed when removing the back. So I'm going to upgrade the SSD and would like to use the back plate if possible, if there is a 'hot fix' or 'work around' with a shim or something I would appreciate the help. Thanks in advance, and good luck to anyone else with these 'after market' mod products, hopefully the quality will improve. I'd gladly pay more for something that is as sturdy as the OEM.

Bump for some insight if anyone has one of these? I see they come out with a new model now and I still see a lack of the OEM reinforcement for the plastic structural integrity.

Have you tried shaving down the part that touches the button?

I had this kind of issue with the gulikit hall sensors sticks where one was so tight up against the body it would rub really hard. I took a big file and shaved down the actual analog stick and put the thumb stick cover back on and it is now perfect.

That's a good idea. Also this back plate I have basically regarded as trash, so I am having an idea to cut a hole in the back and create a pivot point so I can easily swap out the SSD drives. Why in God's name didn't value allow such a door/opening to easily swap parts, like every damn laptop ever created, we will never know. I will post my progress of this 'hack', time to dust off my Dremel.
