DualSense PS5 controller disconnects WiFi 2.4G on SteamDeck
If DualSense PS5 controller is connected to SteamDeck via Blueooth it kills WiFi 2.4G connectivity on SteamDeck, symptomps:
- packets stop flowing to/from SteamDeck
- SteamDeck disconnects from the WiFi 2.4G (if the SSID is hidden, SteamDeck will never reconnect again)

I tried:
- all possible 2.4G channels on the AP
- changing/increasing RF power on the AP
- physically relocating SteamDeck
- disabling power savings features on both AP and in the developer menu on SteamDeck

Nothing helped.

Lenovo laptop located nearby SteamDeck has no problem:
- no packet drop at time SteamDock loses connectivity
- no problem with laptop 2.4G WiFi connectivity if DualSense is used as the laptop controller

Reproduced with two different access points (both Asus with Broadcom chipset) in two different offices. WiFi 2.4G on SteamDeck is dead or massively slowed down with very long pings if the DualSense controller is paired to the SteamDeck and used. Other devices on the WiFi network don't have any problem, only the SteamDeck.

XBox or Nintendo wireless BT controllers work fine without any apparent WiFi connectivity degragation on the SteamDeck.

I have the same problem, does anybody have solution without using a cable? I also noticed that wifi + bluetooth dualsense works on desktop mode, so this could be a steam os problem.

5G band should work, external USB wifi card or USB BT module could also help (untested by me). The wireless chip used in Steam Deck is a crap. I think it works in the desktop mode (e.g. as a mouse), because it doesn't utilize the full bandwidth.
