* Disable DX12 via configuration file
* Use the latest GE Proton which has DX12 support that works for The Division 2
I searched for the File to disable DX12, which is state.cfg which should be located in "User/Steamuser/Documents/My Games/Tom Clancy's The Divison 2"
But neither the File, nor the Folder "My Games" in Documents, exist.
And at that Point i dont know why.
This makes me question why and what i did possibly wrong.
I downloaded the UbiConnect Application.
Added the Application to Steam as a Foreign App, installed it that way, searched for it in Compdata and added there the UbiConnect Launcher.exe and installed from there all the other Games.
Did i do anything wrong or am i missing something?
You have downloaded the Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime? I would try forcing the latest GE Proton and trying that first. If that works, that would be the easiest path. Unfortunately, most of the non-recent (i.e. non-Steam versions) Division 2 videos used Windows to get it to work.
Well, i tried it back then as some YouTube Tutorial also mentioned this. But this didnt help either. I just gave up on it. But thank you nonetheless.
The only thing that helped me partially was to Buy this Game on Steam again and Install it via Steam. But there i also have many Problems.
Like, the Steam Deck or the Game itself freezing when doing Seasonal Events or Group relatex things. Really weird thing.
For the Steam version, make sure to do the following:
