Xbox/ps remote play
Trying to get a way to play any game in any room, I'm buying a steam deck in a few weeks, with out installing windows is there a way to get these apps?

Also how is the loading speed when loading from a sd card?

I am surprised no one replied to this. If I understand your question you want to know if you can use the Steam Deck to remote play Xbox games? As in Xbox Game Pass cloud gaming? Absolutely. I do this all the time, works like a champ. Standard caveats apply, you need a fast enough connection to make it worthwhile but all you gotta do for Xbox is installed MS Edge (plenty of tutorials for this) and go to to town.

If you are talking about streaming games from your XBOX to your Deck this I don't know. I've never done this. I'd be interested if you found out.

For Playstation there's apparently an open source implementation of Sony's remote play protocol, but as with all things of such a nature, use at your own risk. I'm not seeing any reports of being banned for using it, nor an official "yes this is ok." So don't blame me if in 6 months Sony takes notice and nukes the whole thing. That said, take a look at chiaki4deck if you're interested. It's a Deck customized fork of the chiaki project that built an open source solution to do Playstation Remote Play on Linux.
