I don't see any information that would be useful to the average person, or any details as to what exactly caused the crashes.
I frequently keep myself informed of Deck news and I can say that it is not something known. I would say, either it's a gamescope bug, which should be confirmed by creating a ticket at [1], or it's a faulty Steam Deck, Steam support can help you [2]

I was right there with you and I'm in a privileged spot cause my internet's OK, but outside of the emulator stuff, getting the system back up to normal was just a matter of time to redownload the games, but the fact that the suspend actually works now was totally worth it. I can actually comfortably use the system for the portability it was intended for.
will try reinstalling the OS soon as this is quite annoying when you always have to wait 10 minutes to just continue playing on the go
The out of the box experience has been pretty poor so far.
Still does this with the monitor attached and another dock, both when resuming from sleep and on cold boot, I would say at least 1 in 10 boots or resumes will be unsuccessful because the storage simply vanishes.
I have to disconnect all cables and hold the power button, then hope it starts up properly on the second or third attempt.
Quite a disappoinitng experience.
