Steam Deck

Steam deck, right track pad double clicks for no reason.
I'm experiencing an issue with my Steam Controller where the right trackpad is randomly registering double clicks, regardless of how gently I swipe with my finger. This occurs in both desktop and non-desktop modes, and it happens unexpectedly. Sometimes, the problem is resolved after a reboot, but it can also stop unexpectedly or be temporarily fixed by going into the Steam client's desktop mode and disabling the controller profile and haptics. However, the issue tends to return even with those settings turned off.

I am unsure if this is a hardware or software issue. I am also cautious in how I handle the controller physically, and it is still in excellent condition as I don't install much software on it. I am wondering if there are any known workarounds for this issue.

I would appreciate any help or suggestions to resolve this problem.

There is a setting in the menu to test the inputs.

Isn't it one that shows a image of the inputs on the steam deck, if so I tried it and it does the same there as well.

Sounds like it may be a hardware issue then. Probably best to open a Ticket with Steam Deck support.

Yeah it's what I'll do, I was hopping it'd just be a software problem :NekoSad:
