Somebody on here suggests changing your monitor to 4k30 as 4k60 is not supported (don't know if that's true).
The op of the thread I linked had the same problem as you. Someone suggested that his connectors were not 4k. He said they are and after plugging and unplugging the dock and cables a bunch of times, he eventually got 4k.
Dude is saying to put deck in desktop mode and choose your display resolution there and then run your game through the steam client and not in gaming mode.

??? has some kind of gender=v-streamer-anime-animal avatar and (what's actually a concern) he thinks the nintendo switch with it's 5 year old cellphone processor can outperform the deck (probably on game made for switch running on deck thru emu with no tweaks and deck doesn't destroy it bc it's throttled down), so IDK if I would listen as he seems pretty confused about things.
