Steam deck windows 10 on screen keyboard issue

Gaming with steam deck on windows was working great till 2 weeks ago. Now when I play the steam on screen keyboard keeps popping up forcing me to use my Xbox controller to game (makes handheld almost pointless, right?). Does anyone know of a quick fix or do I have to wait for an update or patch? I have already tried to disable big picture mode and create new controller profile, etc. Nothing has worked. Am using SWICD fyi.

Go to steams settings, then controller and there will be a option to turn the keyboard off.

Bro I appreciate it but I already tried that. There is no option to just disable the keyboard. The only option I see that for is when you enable Xbox controller you can go into mapping buttons on desktop config but I already disabled keyboard and it still keeps popping up in game. It worked fine up until update so I was assuming it was just a bug. Tried to message steam and the automated message told me to post here so I was hoping it would get viewed and if it was a popular issue they would patch it up. I do appreciate you trying to help tho. Thanks man.
