Returning a Steam Deck for repair in U.K
I am having some issues with my l/h stick. In some menus when pushing to the top line, the info ‘Steam menu’ and ‘a b’ on the bottom line flicker. I seem to be going round in circles with steam support, I have a .mov video file showing the issue, but it cannot be uploaded on their help site. I have tried Valve in the U.S. but being constantly ignored. All I need to know is where I can send the deck for repair in the U.K. Why is so difficult.

Note, Valve doesn't have anything to do with RMA's or repairs - everything goes through Support. There is no better US version of Valve Support.

It's most likely going to be difficult to find somewhere to repair it in the UK. I wouldn't let some shop start fiddling around with my Deck; they haven't been out long enough and the market saturation is far too low - the local knowledge base is still far roo low.

Back to Support, what's their current problem with issuing an RMA or repair? Sometimes you just have to go around in circles with them.

Convert the video to a format that they accept.

Is it hard to RMA it via the steam page?

It’s not difficult to get in touch with Support. They’re pretty good with RMAs and fixing broken Decks, there’s just more steps when it difficult for them to understand the issue. Usually, people post YouTube vids to help.

Oh, and Support has a list of troubleshooting steps they have everyone go through, nothing major but it’s does make people feels like they’re getting the runaround.

OP just has to keep at it.

I'm having issues with the Steam Deck volume turning up to max.
