Latest beta candidate problems

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but i have my Steam Client Update Channel on Beta and my OS Update Channel on Beta Candidate, when i went to use my deck it said there was a update so i let it do the update as normal unfortunately after it had rebooted the only input the deck would accept was the touchscreen.

I tried completely rebooting but nothing still worked, the only way i could get the input working was to select Beta in OS Channel and let it install that.

I tested the beta candidate again just to make sure there wasn't a problem with the installation the first time but i still had the same input problem so i'm on Beta for now is anyone else having this problem with the Beta Candidate?

This is reason why you shall never use Beta or Preview channels, since Beta = Unstable, Preview = Dev and very unstable. Always stick to stable channel to avoid problems.
