After ReImage I can see only black screen and pointer
So, I changed my 64gb ssd to Hynix BC711 256gb
Did everything that was mentioned in IFixit guide with all precautions.
I Imaged recovery.img.bz2 from the Steam site on my flash card and choosed in boot manager it.
After 5-10 minutes I can see only black screen and pointer that can be moved my right trackpad.

If I would refer to the official page:

5. In the Boot Manager, boot from the 'EFI USB Device' (your USB key) = did it
6. The screen will go dark while it's booting - give it a minute. = did it

7. Once booted you will be in a desktop environment, you can navigate using the trackpad and trigger. = and I'm stuck here, unable to see any desktop environment, just my pointer on the black screen
Can you open a new terminal with Ctrl+Alt+F2|F4|F5|F6 ?

Leave it longer. I had to reimage once. It is dreadfully slow.

If nothing happens in, like, an hour, then start troubleshooting.

Thanks, after third reboot and waiting for an 35-45 minutes, pointer dissappeared, so I guess, it's trying to go further.

Unfortunately, I don't have any keyboard here =(
It is maybe testing full integrity of the new disk, the common problem when changing the disk is much that it is not booting anymore at all, so you passed this step at least it should be ok to wait
3 hours of waiting and still nothing.
Well, I decided to charge SteamDeck for another round.

Steam Deck recovery image is very picky when it comes to boot media. If you only see black screen for more than 5 minutes since booting the Recovery Image your boot media is either incompatible or prepared incorrectly.

Try using Etcher (if you used Rufus previously or vice versa) to create the boot media. If that does not help try different USB drive.
Still not fixed ? Have you tested POWER + QAM (3 dots button on right) there are recovery options here too

yeah i had the same Problem. USB Stick at fault. My theory is that some USB sticks have to much power consumption at (load) so they crap out. i installed the recovery image to a SD card and it works after 20 seconds
