How to bring up Steam Menu During gaming while using keyboard or 3rd party controller?

While not gaming, Ctrl+1, and Ctrl+2 are the keys for bringing up the steam Menu. The problem is how to open the Steam Menu during games with a Keyboard? Also, if I use a switch controller, how do I open Steam Menu at all?

You mean the Quick access menu? The menu with the 3 dots ... ?

Keyboard I don't know, on other controllers it's Xbox Button + A. Or PS Button + A. On the switch Controller i would guess it's either Home button + A or + B.

Thank you. You are correct. Home for Steam Menu, Home+A for quick settings, friends, and overlays. Now I just have to figure out shortcuts for keyboards.

I too need to figure out a way to press the Steam menu buttons with keyboard while in game mode and docked.

Doesn't work while in-game. I think this is an issue on Valve's part
