I sent in a screenshot with the tracking receipt (because checking the tracking number they provided was too complicated for them apparently). The last reply they sent said they will investigate the situation and update my ticket when they have news (that was 4 days ago)
Give them the details. Then wait until they respond which can take a bunch of days if they are busy.
I got the same impression, it's like they're outsourcing support to people who don't understand english. We shouldn't have to wait this long for support or our money back, when I reserved my deck they sent me a email giving me 3 days to pay for it.
However it doesn’t show in my account..
We shall see…
Factory reset with all accessories and in original packaging.
The instructions weren’t exactly difficult to follow
Though, as time passes, I'm noticing more and more issues with it. But it's mainly GNU/Linux issues, not really the Steam Deck itself, and most of my issues with the Deck are because I'm asking much more of it than simply just playing games...
But, as a GNU/Linux user for well over 15 years, I knew what I was getting in to...
Maybe my post is totally irrelevant because some people are actually receiving faulty hardware? IDK, I hope that isn't the case. Certainly possible. If that ISN'T the issue, I'm very curious to know why so many people are trying to return their Steam Decks...?
Lucky my reply 5 days after the last one says they are still investigating lol
Mine arrived with faulty haptics, they offered a repair but I don't see why I should pay full price for a repaired deck when I paid for a new working item. Not just would I have been accepting a repaired deck I would of been loosing out on warranty again for something that arrived broken.
Moaning on the forums works chaps!
It just gives the impression it works but you are slowing down things as much the people sending support ticket for any reason
It would seem so as we both got a reply in the same night. Thing is people shouldn't have to go public with private issues to get something done!
