Yeah, I don't restrict myself. I'm using the most effiecient and less problematic options I have. I'm playing most of the demanding games over the Cloud, because of the loud fans and how hot the SD gets, for maybe 40 fps on low details.
Just to mention a few games I'm playing over Cloud:
Ark: Survival Evolved
FH4 + 5
Fallout 4
Guardians of the Galaxy
Moonlight Streaming:
Cyberpunk 2077
and more will follow...
I just point out a solution for your problem, so you also can enjoy the game on your SD.
It's really not that bad:

The pros overweight the cons for me, so it's the most effiecient for me.
Pros:
60 fps
full detail
no install
no crashes or errors
not demanding on the hardware
long batterylife
Cons:
required good internet
minimal higher latency
"I don't own the game", which I really don't care.
I also don't really care if I have to pay monthly, because they give me access to the newest and older games.
But yeah, if you don't like cloud gaming, have fun waiting for a fix.
Pros:
20 to 60 fps
full detail
install
own my games
Cons:
crashes or errors
ex con some idiot games always required internet
You know, that you don't really own your games on Steam, right?
"You do not own your games. Whether bought through Steam, Origin, or any other digital download service that requires a live account to play them, you are at best renting those games, with no guarantee that you'll be able to continue to do so."

install is a pro?
Bro if I would install all the games, I'm playing over the cloud.
I would have to download and install more than 2 TB.
Now, I'm downloading Apex Legends 65 GB on my Steam Deck and I have to wait 1 h 30 min to finish the download. In that time, I would have already played a few sessions.
But yeah, don't want to argue any longer about this.
Have a nice day.
