Binding RMB to L2

Just got my Streamdeck today. Yay. Was trying out New World and everything is working fine but one thing does not work:

Aiming with a bow or a gun is bound to "RMB Hold" in the game key settings. Now I want to bind that RMB hold to the L2 button but i can only assign "RMB" which is interpreted as a click. What is my fault there?

Use the controller configuration within the steam deck then you can bind what you want in desktop mode or gaming mode. you can also download community made settings there.

I already re-assigned lots of buttons but that "RMB Hold" somehow does not work: I set L2 to "Right Mouse Button" and if I hold L2, it just triggers a RMB click once. But I want to hold that mouse button until L2 is released.

It seems to be an ongoing issue with the game since last year.
