Leave steam deck on all night?

I got my steam deck and have a bunch of stuff to download, i wanna leave it plugged in and charging all night long while it downloads the content. Is this safe?

I do it with my pc all the time but idk if the steam deck is equipped to be on for so long. It gets hot pretty fast

Of course it’s safe. The Steam Deck doesn’t run hot unless you’re playing a GPU/CPU intensive games. It’s a handheld PC after all.

It's safe. However I suggest you to use desktop mode and tune the energy saving settings in order to dimm your screen after some minutes of inactivity.

Let the Deck just sit there. It was built to run games, downloading (and even unpacking) them is nowhere nearly as demanding, not even overnight.
