steam deck trackpad keeps moving
hi, i have a problem that i dont know if it is a configuration but whenever i slide my finger in the trackpad fast it keeps moving in the same direction for a moment, there is a way to disable this? example: i slide my finger fast to the left in a fps game and i keep rotating for a moment

Sounds like trackball mode. Try going into the controller layout configuration of the game you're playing, down to trackpads, hit the gear icon for the trackpad behaviour option of the offending trackpad, and once again down to trackpad. If it was set as joystick or mouse on the previous screen, it should have an option for trackball mode. In this mode quick inputs have momentum. Turn this off, and see if things are better for you.

likewise u can turn the heptics down from defaut 5 to 2 or 3, steam recommends 5 at the most but that still too high

settings > controller > layout/edit in there u can adjust the global settings, smoothing, speed, sensitivity and more
