Decks shipped from Netherlands?
UK decks are shipped from Holland? Why my deck needs to travel so much, what is wrong with UK friends?

I don’t understand why they don’t have a warehouse in the UK

Mines came via GLS in Netherlands. The first 3 or 4 days it sat static before even leaving the hub. Day 5 it was in transit and I received on day 7.
Having ordered regularly from Europe prior to Brexit and staring at a screen day after day waiting on some movement on the customs side was often torture. The deck turnaround time was positively refreshing in comparison.

So 7 days. I was hoping to get mine before the weekend. Tough chances. GLS got my deck on the 12/07.

Yes, this does not make any sense. USA claim to be strategic partner and close with special relationship. Not special enough if they choose to open warehouses in Europe.

Think you're being a tad optimistic with that expectation.

Yeah....seems like it. Who would have thought that delivering goods from Netherlands to UK takes so long. They must be walking to UK from there.

"General Logistics Systems B.V., also known as GLS, is a British-owned logistics company based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The company was known as German Parcel when it was founded in 1989, by Rico Back. It was subsequently rebranded as GLS and is now a subsidiary of Royal Mail."

British owned and run by the Royal Mail, no wonder it takes a week.

Because that's where most tech products land? The Netherlands has the biggest seaport in Europe.

Do you expect them to ship it from China all the way to the UK directly? Loads of tech products you've bought in the past most likely at some point went via the Netherlands.

Correct most do. Especially from Germany. Holland is only 17hrs away by ferry in the UK. 1hr30 by air. We aint talking halfway across the globe here.

You are comparing a major online shopping and distribution centre with a major digital gaming platform.
Just think, next week you wont care.

You just want your deck. If it was only 24 hours it would still be too long. Am I right or am I right?
