Report a translation problem
I have a gaming laptop and a SD and I don’t play the same games on both systems because I would expect the settings to remain in place from the previous session.
In this case Bethesda/id failed to heed Valve's suggestion, and now you see the result of their decision. The only other solutions are to either pester Bethesda/id or disable cloud saves. Same with the other games. The developers need to fix this because Valve saw this problem, warned them of this problem, told them how to avoid this problem, and then the developer didn't listen.
