Broken deck!

HELP!
My steam deck stopped working after a week. I can't get anything to show on the screen anymore. I tried working with support but after I told them I couldn't reimage the deck they stopped msging me. Anyone know any way to send it back for repairs? I hate having a $400 paperweight! Thanks in advance.

Yeah the frustrating part of it is is I'm trying to work with steam to fix it but I can't reimage the deck as they requesting me to so I just need to have it sent someplace to repair it. It's frustrating. Very frustrating.

Why cant you Re-Image the deck, This is a very simple request that only requires a thumb drive and usb-c dock/extender. A steam deck is not a console like a playstation and this is basic computer troubleshooting.

If the screen isn't working you can't see what you need to to re-image it Dufus. He said so at top of page.

You have to convey to the Steam support that the screen isn’t working and you cannot get an image which is why you can’t reimage the device.

steamdeck is the biggest piece of trash I have ever purchased from Valve. They keep giving me instructions to reimage it DESPITE MY CONSTANTLY TELLING THEM THE SCREEN DOESN'T WORK. I'm getting to the point where I want my money back and if Valve doesn't give it to me I will just contact my bank and reverse the charges.

edit: support finally RMAd my steamdeck after I sent an angry ALL CAPS response explaining that they keep giving me impossible instructions because THE SCREEN DOESNT WORK. I RMAd the steam deck and got it back a week or two later but I havent played much on it yet. Ive been enjoying my 4 year old nintendo switch instead which has never had a problem. Ill hang onto the steamdeck and play some games on it, but i doubt I'll be buying any valve hardware in the future. I have several steam links, several steam controllers and a steamdeck and i have complaints about all of them which means its time for me to stop giving my money to valve.

Just tell em what they want to hear. You reimagined it and the problem is still present.

To be fair, it took me a whole bunch of emails and blasting them, but I finally got the approval to exchange mine so I'd say stick with it. They will eventually agree
