Steam Deck

Path of titans on Steam deck?
It has a native Linux version, but I can’t seem to figure out how to load the game. I installed the launcher and it disappeared in the directories… not sure where, and I need to find it to add as a non-Steam game… anyone get it to work? I realize it’s an online mmo so I need to be near wifi, but I tether to my 5G phone so it’s all good.

Most likely under /opt but you can search for it with “find” - more info here: https://www.plesk.com/blog/various/find-files-in-linux-via-command-line/

Nope. Both Linux launchers just sit there and do nothing. Chucked it. Devs basically said they are too busy with console to worry about Linux, so…. Is what it is.

That's weird as they have it clearly stated on their website that they support Linux.

It was a crowd funded game so if this was one of their selling points then Linux users should hold them to their promise.

Установил линукс версию. Работает нормально, но только через рабочий стол, в стим добавить никак не получается.

To be fair it's rare if there is a linux port that is as well maintained and patched as the windows version.

I almost always run the windows version with Proton, especially if you want to use mods on said game.

I understand why they stopped (mostly) with native linux ports since it's not financially interesting before steam deck and it's a nightmare to provide support for seeing all the different linux distro's people can use.
