DeckBot Estimate
Hello friends,
For those who received their steam deck already and used the various deck bots out there mainly getmydeck, what was the time difference from what you saw on that page to when you got your email notification to order?

I know it’s not exact, just looking for estimates. Thanks!

Mine was pretty accurate - it was off by 10% and loads of people's are totally fine. However, others on Reddit have gone way over 100% and not received their decks on the predicted day; likely because the data entered into the spreadsheet was incorrect.

Note that the Deckbot was retired on Monday, so from now on it'll no longer be updated.

When I entered my information into getmydeck, it said that I would get it in September. I got the email last Thursday and received my Deck yesterday.

That’s not true. Fammy will continue collect data on Reddit. So getmydeck will still be accurate. And additionally someone created a getmydeck discord bot which uses the getmydeck api.

And additionally getmydeck does no estimate at all. So when you get the info from getmydeck wrong.

Nice to know the API isn’t going to be turned off. As I stated in my original post, I know the estimate is just that and not an official timeline of when you will get your email. That’s why I asked the question of what was the difference between the two.

Sorry Bro, you misunderstood getmydeck. It doesn’t make any predictions.

The current integration of the Deckbot has been retired.

Fammy has said not to rely on the data from the spreadsheets. There have been anomalies before either because people get their dates and times incorrect when filling out the form - which happened a few weeks back with the 256 US orders - or for some unknown reason, people who should've received emails according to the spreadsheet just don't that week. The current theory is that they're on the cusp of the delivery window for that week.

Deckbot was replaced by https://getmydeck.ingenhaag.dev

Which is endorsed by Deckbot's creator.
