Change touchpad and buttons settings for desktop mode?

The touchpad are quite sensitive and hard to use in general, when in desktop mode; where I find the settings for those?
Also I do not like that the left and right button are set to the press of the pads; and would prefer to use the left and right triggers. Sometimes Desktop use the triggers but most of the time use the touchpad as buttons... Not sure where this settings are

In the Steam client: View -> Settings -> Controller -> Desktop Configuration

The trackpads are the two squares at the center directly above the image of the Deck.

I set my desktop config to be closer to the default Steam Controller config, there's a sensitivity slider in there too.

Oh, and there's currently a bug that makes steam freeze for a few minutes when you first open the configuratior, just give it a bit.
