Crysis 2 Max Edition Won't Launch
I can't get Crysis 2 to launch on my Steam Deck. I installed Proton GE and that doesn't seem to work either. Anyone seem to know how to get this game to launch? (I have deleted and reinstalled the game).

Yes, runs on Windows. Yet another reason to support Windows so I can be done with linsux.
Windows is not hardware.
Again, would this even run on this hardware?

I could not hear you at all.
You do not know some basic computer stuff, according to many of your posts.
What you claim about anything is irrelevant.
And being a troll on this forum does not really help you back up your opinions.

You're best off just not engaging with them. That said, the game is marked as Playable, and by all rights the hardware should be more than enough to run an 11 year old game. So someone at Valve got it to run.

True.
I will try to run it myself in couple of days just to see how well it will run.

Crysis Remastered runs fine, actually surprisingly well on the Steam Deck. For some reason, Crysis 2 won't even boot. Not with ProtonGE, not with Experimental, not with any other version . . . kind of a bummer. Granted I haven't dug much deeper than browsing the forums.

I've launched it and it plays fine within Windows on the steam deck. Call me a troll all y'all want. Facts is facts.

Thanks @Lauren, though I am not running Windows. Looking for a Linux solution.

i'm actually playing it to compare with the "Remastered" Version of the Switch.
I don't use Custom Proton, just Default Proton set to 7.0.4 on Developement Mode.
Steam Version.
